Press & PR
Send us something worth paying attention to.
Good Hours considers selected press releases, artist pitches, interview opportunities and editorial leads across Living, Beauty, Travel, Wellbeing, Music and Culture.
01 / What we consider
Relevance matters more than volume.
We are interested in pitches that fit the publication naturally and give us a reason to look more closely.
Music & artist stories
New releases can be useful context, but we are most interested in the person, creative process, culture and lived experience behind the music.
Interview opportunities
We welcome thoughtful interview pitches where there is a clear human story, distinctive perspective or conversation worth having.
Lifestyle & culture
Relevant ideas in Living, Beauty, Travel, Wellbeing and Culture are considered when they offer useful context, strong reporting potential or a genuinely interesting angle.
Press releases
Press releases are welcome as source material, but receipt does not guarantee coverage and we may choose a different editorial angle from the supplied release.
A useful pitch
Tell us why the story belongs in Good Hours. A concise, specific pitch with clear context is more useful than a long promotional email built around superlatives.
02 / Before you send
Make it easy to understand the story.
Include the essential context: who or what the pitch is about, why it is timely, what makes it distinctive and any relevant release, event or availability dates.
Links to official websites, music, press materials or image folders are helpful. Please identify image credits and usage permissions clearly where applicable.
We do not need a heavily designed presentation. Clear information is more useful than elaborate promotional language.
03 / What happens next
Submission does not equal publication.
Every story still has to earn its place editorially.
We review the material
Pitches are considered for relevance, timing, originality and fit with the Good Hours editorial direction.
We decide the right format
A pitch may become a news item, interview, feature, reference point for a broader story or may not be covered at all.
We get in touch when needed
If we need interview availability, additional information, images or clarification, we will contact you directly.
Editorial control stays with Good Hours
Headlines, framing, editing, publication timing and whether a story runs remain editorial decisions.

05 / Press FAQ
A few things worth knowing.
Do you charge for editorial coverage?
No. Independent editorial consideration is not sold. Any commercial or sponsored opportunity is handled separately and identified clearly.
Will every press release receive a response?
No. We review material selectively and may not be able to reply individually to pitches we decide not to pursue.
Can we request an interview?
Yes. Interview pitches are welcome when there is a strong editorial reason for the conversation and a clear fit with Good Hours.
Can we send high-resolution images?
Yes. Please include clear image credits and confirm that the supplied material is cleared for editorial use.
Can we approve the article before publication?
No. Good Hours retains editorial control over published work. Factual clarifications may be requested when appropriate, but editorial approval is not offered.
Good stories usually arrive with a reason to care.
If your pitch has one, tell us clearly. We will take it from there.
